Material development
Anna Bullus is the designer associated with Gumdrop and Gum-tec in the original GUMSHOE website. London Metropolitan University’s report dated 22 March 2018 describes her work with its Polymers department to develop a way of turning waste chewing gum into useful compounds.
The university says she spent three years developing the material with London Met. Its account names uses including phone covers and coffee cups and describes the bright pink collection bins. Those details place GUMSHOE within a wider material-development effort.
Her role in the shoe project
The recovered GUMSHOE page credits Bullus as designer of Gum-Tec® and includes her portrait. The manufacturer’s project account connects the Gumdrop material expertise to Explicit and I Amsterdam. That is the documented link between the material designer and the sneaker.
This page is a sourced account of that contribution. It does not assign her authorship of the new buying guides or claim that she has inspected current stock.
